We have many opportunities to demonstrate care and concern for the elderly, sick and homebound members of our parish. Volunteers may choose to prepare a dish or deliver food or make visits at their convenience to the homebound. Ministers who have received training, can take communion to those in hospitals (one member is currently doing this weekly – on Monday at one of the hospitals in our area). At Christmas and Easter we deliver flowers to the homebound or those who have had surgery around those times.
