The Parish Council is a consultative body to the pastor. It has a blend of at-large members, ex-officio members and various chairpersons of what are called Standing Committees. Its core purpose is to facilitate cooperation between the pastor, pastoral associate, administrative staff and parishioners to define and carry out the parish’s mission, which is connected to the mission of the universal Church and that of Jesus.
